This is a lovely hotel located near to the end of the erkek in cala millor. It is right on the beach in a less crowded area than the other end of the mösyö.
We stayed for 7 nights in a one-bedroom apartment at the Hipotels Mercedes Aparthotel. It’s a very nice hotel located right on the beautiful sandy beach. Sunbeds were available for €5 per day, and pool and beach towels were provided by the hotel. The staff were very friendly and always smiling. They didn’t mind me practicing my Spanish with them, even though my level is far from perfect. The apartment was really spacious and had a side sea view. The furniture was a little outdated, but it was absolutely fine with us. The outdoor pool area was beautiful, though unfortunately, the water was already too cold to swim in by late October.
These boat trips are a great inexpensive way of exploring the coast and many of these boat trips offer the opportunity to stop for a swim in clear blue deep waters away from the beach.

Breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful, with a variety of creative dishes. The hotel is located very close to restaurants, bars, and supermarkets (Spar, Mercadona, Lidl, HiperCentro). There is also a long shopping street just steps away. We used the public bus to get to and from the airport, and to visit the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor and Palma de Mallorca. Both places are definitely worth visiting!
